Simon Foote Architects were appointed to create an extension to the front of this Peak District family home, located in the picturesque village of Brassington.
The project required a sympathetic approach to ensure the extension was in keeping with the existing building as well as providing the benefit of additional space in the kitchen.
A key feature of the build involved installing a glass panel running between the existing building and the extension to allow natural light to flood into the new space.
Our delighted client said: "It has changed the way we live" - by providing an enlarged family kitchen which can accommodate a dining table, additional seating and storage to create a comfortable family living space.
