The layout of this traditional 1930s house did not meet with the requirements of the clients who required a relaxed, open space that would be more in keeping with their busy lifestyle.
The design brief asked for a contrasting aesthetic to the original house. The concept was to introduce three cuboids which would define specific functions inside the home, living space, kitchen area, and a open area which would link directly to the garden.
The conversion has opened up the house to realise its potential as a space to live, work and entertain in.
